The 13th International Symposium on Topics in Coding (ISTC) will be held from August 18-22 on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles, California.  ISTC previously referred to the International Symposium on Turbo Codes.  Since ISTC 2021, the name was changed to International Symposium on Topics in Coding to better reflect the broad scope of the event.  The symposium provides a unique an opportunity to acquire a broad overview of the current status of advanced research in all areas of coding theory and its applications, including hardware and software implementations. Since its foundation shortly after the invention of Turbo codes, ISTC has gained a solid reputation within the coding community for gathering the best and most influential researchers in channel coding, with specialists of all major code families in attendance.
